This full-time, benefited position provides comprehensive primary and preventive health care services to a diverse and often underserved population of all ages. This includes assessing patient needs for specialty referrals and diagnostic & in-patient care, educating patients and families regarding health issues and prevention, and completing accurate and timely chart notes. Our providers do not currently perform hospital work or OB and have a minimal call schedule. This full-time, benefited position leads, manages, and supervises the clinical team, as well as provides comprehensive, coordinated, primary and preventive health care services to a diverse & underserved patient population across the lifespan, the majority with comorbiditiy or dual diagnoses. In performing this work, the Medical Director ensures execution of our mission of "Assuring Access to High Quality Affordable Health Care for All". Ideally, this position would spend 30% of their time on administrative duties and 70% of their time on clinical duties. The ideal candidate will be a primary care medical physician with strong leadership skills and clinical experience in a community health center.
