Board of Directors


 

A Board of Directors, made up of at least 51% patients, governs the Interfaith Community Health Center. Occasionally there are open seats on the board, if you are a patient and are interested in learning more about being a part of our board contact clinic administration at hr@interfaithchc.org or call 676-6177 x 140

 

  Robert (Bob) E. Becker

Strong business and financial background; community service with Interfaith Coalition, Visiting Nurses Foundation, Rotary Club, Civil Service Commission, and church affiliation.

  Ron Crutcher
Treasurer
Has an Engineering background with a business administration degree and project management experience. EMT volunteer for local Fire District; program planning and evaluation for local technical school.
 

Marcus A. Fairbanks,
DDS

Dentist in private practice over 25 years in Bellingham. Participant in community activities including Boy Scouts, Children's Museum Board, BTC Dental Clinic, United Way, and Interfaith Community Health Center volunteer.
  Wendell L. Godard
President

A medical patient of ICHC, Project Manager in construction, foster parent, designed and ran foster parent training program, juvenile delinquent counselor, street work; low-income family conflict resolution, counseling and referral. Facility planning and needs, assisted with budgets and fiscal management.

  Mary Jo Iverson (a.k.a. TuTu)
Vice-President

Eight years Volunteer Extraordinaire with Interfaith CHC, Board secretary of Bellingham Community Meals Program. Corporate Cash Manager for Payless Drugs Northwest, Wilsonville, Oregon. Retired English teacher. She has a Masters Degree in Educational Administration and is an Interfaith patient.

  Susan Rittmueller, M.A.

An adult mental health counselor for over 30 years. Community service as a former board member of Whatcom Crisis Services Center, Interfaith Coalition, Coalition for Health Communities, served on Personnel and Mission and Social Justice committees for local congregation. Partnership member of the mental health program for the Interfaith Community Health Center since the program’s inception.

  Pat McGraw

An Interfaith patient who holds degrees in Education and Psychology, with a background as a high school English teacher, counselor at shelter for battered women and children, project manager for large corporation, writer, parent and grandparent.

  Peter Messervy

In addition to being a medical patient of ICHC, he is a writer, teacher, and consultant in project management and systems development. As president and CEO of Opus Magnum Inc., provided services to many of the fortune 500 and major corporations worldwide. Served as a volunteer on the board of CIPS (Canadian Information Processing Society) and the Calgary Winter Olympic Games. Recently worked as volunteer project manager for the development of Point Roberts Wellness Clinic.

  David Niles

A medical patient of Interfaith CHC, Board member of the Point Roberts Aydon Wellness Clinic, Whatcom County Parks management, with a background in restaurant and hotel management, and real estate appraisal.
