Behavioral health includes both mental health and substance abuse.

Mental and emotional health is an important part of overall health. Our behavioral health providers work closely with your PCP. Together they develop treatment plans to meet a wide range of needs. These may include depression, anxiety, and chronic conditions.

• Your PCP may make referrals and coordinate behavioral health services with the ICHC behavioral health professionals.
• Your PCP may make referrals to ICHC psychiatrists for medication management.
• Behavioral health staff may refer you to mental health counselors for low-cost mental health counseling, or provide mental health counseling at the health center.

Medicaid-Covered Mental Health Services

ICHC is a state-licensed mental health facility. We have a contract to provide mental health services with the Regional Support Network (RSN). This contract allows us to provide mental health services covered by Medicaid.
